Jeg reiser til Norden!

I am very sorry to report that the next post will not be up until next weekend.
I know, I know, but don't go into cardiac arrest quite yet.
Our class is going on a week long excursion up North, and I will definitely have a wealth of experiences and information to post, but I won't have my computer with me. So I am taking along a journal to log everything in, and I will post it all on Sunday when I return.
Now, for those of you whose are living a vicarious existence through my blog, and whose lives would come to a screeching halt without it for a week, I have posted our tentative-subject-to-change-at-a-second's-notice-or-whenever-our-professor-gets-a-wild-hair schedule, so you can keep up with where I may theorectically be at in any given moment. (We are 7 hours ahead of CT; in order to most accurately follow, please note the time difference.)

Monday:
9:00 Meet at Hamar Train Station
9:15 Depart for Trondheim
14:48 Arrive at Trondheim Station
Urban walk and lecture
Dinner
Election Night in Trondheim (We are invited to 3 different Norwegian political party's election night parties, that's kind of fun isn't it?)

Tuesday:
9:00 Meet
Local excursion to Trondheim Cathedral
and the Arch Bishop's Castle
22:00 Night Train to Bodø

Wednesday:
8:25 Arrive at Fauske
8:55 Depart by bus to Arran/Drag
Lectures at "Arran" the Lule-Saami Centre,
Settling in at Oppeid/Camping

Thursday:
9:00 Meet for
Lectures and local excursions
Visit Hamarøy Municipality
Evening at Oppeid/Camping

Friday:
7:30 Depart by bus to Skutvik
Travelling by coastal ferry to Kjerringøy/Bodø
Lectures in Kjerringøy

Saturday:
8:00 Depart by bus/ferry for Bodø
Lectures and walks in Bodø

Evening: Fly back to Oslo/Hamar
